π§Ύ Finding Your Invoices and Payment Documents
First, credits and invoices are not the same thing
It helps to separate two ideas:
- Credits are how you fund screening. You top up credits or hold a plan, and credits are deducted at the moment you place an order. 1 credit equals 1 euro, excluding VAT.
- Billing documents are the invoices and receipts that record those payments and top-ups for your accounting.
If you are looking for proof of what you spent, you want the billing documents, not the credit balance.
Who can access billing documents
Billing is tied to the Finance role. If you do not see a billing or transactions area in your account, you most likely do not have the Finance role. Ask an Owner or Manager in your organisation to grant it, or to retrieve the document for you.
Finding a specific transaction
Billing documents are organised in the transactions list. To narrow a long list down to the order or period you need, use the Filters panel at the top of the list. You can filter by completed date, created date, transaction type, payment type, and status. For a full guide, see Billing: Filtering Transactions.
A useful distinction when reconciling: filter by completed date to answer "what did we actually spend", and by created date to answer "what did we order".
Downloading the invoice or receipt
Invoices can be downloaded as PDF's from the invoice section in billing. You will be able to see a summary of the transactions, and then if you like, you can export the documented as required.
VAT and currency
Prices are quoted excluding VAT, where 1 credit equals 1 euro. VAT is applied according to your organisation's billing details.
