How Scaut pricing works
Scaut combines a service plan with a credit system:
- Choose the plan that fits your screening volume and team size.
- Each plan sets your user seats, data storage, available checks, and functionality level.
- Credits pay for the screening itself. 1 credit = β¬1 (excluding VAT).
- Credit prices vary by check and by country, so log in to the platform to see exact prices.
- Top up credits at any time, in bulk or pay-as-you-go.
Note on free credits: only the Premium plan includes free monthly credits. On Basic, Starter, and Starter plus you purchase credits as you need them.

Monthly vs annual billing
- Annual plans cost around 17% less overall than paying monthly.
- With an annual plan you receive all of your credits up front.
- Annual plan credits are valid for 12 months. Monthly plan credits expire each month.

Credits
What credits buy: checks, packages, and bundles in the platform.
How to get more: buy in bulk, pay as you go, or (on Premium) wait for your free monthly credits to renew.
Unused credits: free monthly credits reset at the end of each month and do not roll over. Credits you have paid for carry over to the next month.
Pricing zones: Scaut uses two pricing zones, EU and Non-EU. The same product costs the same within the same zone. Log in to the platform for exact prices, since they vary by check and country.
Choosing the right plan
- Basic: occasional screening, one user, short retention.
- Starter: small team of up to 3 users, regular screening, all checks and custom packages.
- Starter plus: larger team of up to 10 users, longer 12 month retention, ZKI, NIS2, CER requirements.
- Premium: higher volume, up to 15 users, free monthly credits, maximum retention, and the full feature set including recurring checks and white-label communication.
